If you are still running Windows Server 2003, you need to start making preparations to replace this license, which is approaching its end of service life. Microsoft will withdraw vendor support for the product in a little over six months' time - on 15 July 2015.
Last year, Microsoft estimated there were still around ten million machines running Windows Server 2003 in use. And in a study conducted by App Zero, 62 per cent of respondents said they do not have a plan to migrate or upgrade as yet.
End of support means you will no longer receive updates which could lead to an unstable and insecure IT infrastructure for your organisation. We can help you upgrade smoothly to Windows Server 2012 R2 and we can also advise if your servers and applications are suitable for virtualisation. With a virtualised solution, you will be able to offer services such as Office 365 to your users – enabling better collaboration, more efficient communication and a safe and secure IT environment.
